Taken & Found is a community tool for tracking phone and bike thefts in the UK. All reports on this website are user-submitted. We do not verify the accuracy of reports, and this website is not an official crime-reporting tool.

2. User Responsibilities

By using this site, you agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading reports.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
• Attempt to extract or manipulate data for purposes other than personal reference.
• Use the site for commercial or advertising purposes.

3. Privacy & Data Use

• We collect theft locations (to display on the map) and email addresses (only to notify users if their report is approved).
• We never sell or share user data beyond what is necessary for site functionality.

4. Liability & Accuracy

• Taken & Found makes no guarantees about the accuracy of submitted reports.
• We are not responsible for how users interpret or act upon the information on this site.
• If you experience theft, you should also report it to the police.
